tested, have some training, and are fully evaluated.

ALEX: 10 month old Black & White smooth coat male. Always in motion, hard to get a still photo of this active boy. Good with other dogs, and all humans of all ages. His ears are semi pricked, but hard to get a photo of them up while he is moving. Adopters must be committed to working with the destruction and energy associated with raising a puppy, along with housebreaking accidents. As with all puppies, socialization and puppy obedience classes are a must. This will ensure that you will have an outgoing, socialized, well-behaved, and well-adjusted adult dog in your family. Alex's adopters will be required to complete a puppy questionnaire . Alex is scheduled to be neutered, so adoption will be after sterilization 11-11-11. ANDY: 14 week old smooth-semi coat male puppy. Active and playful. Adopters must be committed to working with the destruction and energy associated with raising a puppy, along with housebreaking accidents. He is doggie door trained now, and doing very well. As with all puppies, socialization and puppy obedience classes are a must. This will ensure that you will have an outgoing, socialized, well-behaved, and well-adjusted adult dog in your family. Andy's adopters will be required to complete a puppy questionnaire as well as complete her/his series of puppy vaccinations, including rabies. Coco got his name since he is not really black and white, but almost a black liver color. Won't you please think of adding him to your family, he would make a great addition. DUGGIE:
14-15 month old Black/White
smooth coat neutered male. Duggie is easy
going, and wants to please his people. He is
good with other dogs, and learning walking on
leash. He has been around children 7 years
and older, and good with all adults he has
been around. Duggie is a soft boy that wants
to just bond to someone. He is respectfully of a
gate and doesn't charge one when you open it
- he waits to see what you want of him. He
needs a family that will continue socialization,
and training. He would be very unhappy being
an outside dog even during the day without
another dog. As with all young Border Collies
he needs to be both mental and physically
challenged. Once he builds his trust with his
home, he would do just about anything you
ask of this sweet easy going boy. He is current
on shots, dewormed and chipped. You must

Maya is a 3-year-old black & white smooth coat spayed female Border Collie. Maya is a little bit shy at first, but warms up very quickly to humans, male and female alike. She loves to cuddle and is doing very well with obedience training. She has learned sit, down, leave it and is doing well with wait and stay. She walks well on a leash and will hop right into the car and will lay down nicely on long car rides. So far, Maya is showing signs that she will need to be with a male dog as she does not do well with females. With a strong handler, I believe this may be able to be somewhat overcome, but will likely be happiest with a male dog or as an only dog. Maya will not be placed in a home with cats and we will be testing her on smaller dogs shortly. Although she may not be a dog park dog, Maya wants to bond very badly and absolutely loves all humans she has met. She has done very well with children as young as 7 years old. Maya will need a somewhat experienced handler as she may try to take over the house, but she submits very quickly and is very little trouble overall. Maya is a lovely dog who probably had a fairly rough start to her life. All she needs is some positive love and attention and she will be forever loyal. Kasey
and his sister Kelly are about 10 months old. They come from an
unsocialized litter, but have made good progress in being acclimated to
people. Kasey is really good with other dogs. He is quite shy,
but loving once he gets to know you. He has quite a bit of herding
instinct. He is smooth coated and quite light boned and slight.
Don't know about cats or kids, but he is a sweet dog and could be taught
to tolerate or even have affection for either or both. Because he
was unsocialized as a little puppy, he needs an owner or family who have
the patience to draw him out of his shell. He has minimal training
but is very smart and will be a loyal and affectionate dog given time and
love. Kasey is located in San Diego area

Kelly and her brother Kasey are about 10 months old. They come from an unsocialze litter, but have made good progress in being acclimated to people. Kelly is affectionate, but unsure of her relationship with people. She is learning to trust people and with a patient home, will continue to improve in her social skills. She is very good with other dogs. Don't know about cats, but she is a soft dog that will probably learn to live with them. She is very active, but also loves to curl up in bed and sleep with her owner. She will make a loyal and loving dog if taken into a patient and trust building forever home. Ruby:
Meet our foster kid Ruby. She’s a 4 year old Borgi (Corgi/Border
Collie) and is a real doll. She has lots of energy , loves to play
but is equally at some being a couch potato. She loves people and
cats. She’s fine with other dogs as well but much prefers the

Rusty
is a 2 year old ACD/ Sheltie mix. He weighs 25 pounds. Rusty loves
water and balls. He will self entertain for hours, rolling a ball with his
nose. He would be best placed with a female buddy as he is trying to climb
the pack order. Experience with these fiercely loyal cattle dogs is a must.
Rusty is exceptional at reading people and taking charge when he sees the
opportunity. He is fine with children if they are very dog savvy and know
how to be alpha. Given the structure he craves, Rusty is a great little guy.
